Hi, my name is Mindi Smedley. I have been working in the accounting & tax field for over 25 years. I have my Master’s in Science in Accounting & Tax. I am an Enrolled Agent, a CAM, a Notary and an Advanced QuickBooks Certified Pro. I worked in public accounting for 15 years, specializing in Not-For-Profits Organizations and Community Associations, as well as all forms of tax work. In 2008, I began working for University of Phoenix Graduate School of Business teaching Not-for-Profit & Government accounting. I retired in 2019. In 2014, after leaving the Public Accounting world, I started my own accounting office part-time out of my home and became the Controller for a property management company. At the end of 2018, I left the property management company to pursue my dream of opening my own accounting office and in June of 2019 officially opened my office in Fort Myers. My firm handles everything from bookkeeping to IRS audits and everything in-between.
